Recipe – Chicken Soup

This is a great way to use bone broth to make a make a quick, warm and satisfying meal. This recipe also meets the dietary recommendations for the RepairVite™ and ClearVite™ diets. You can make this into a family meal by adding brown rice or quinoa to the soup separately if your carbohydrates are limited and theirs are not.

Chicken Soup

Prep Time: 20-30 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes


4 – 6 cups organic chicken stock

2 organic carrots

2 stalks organic celery

½ organic onion

½ – 1 pound cooked organic chicken meat

1 – 2 cups cooked organic quinoa or cooked organic brown rice (optional)

Unrefined sea salt

  1. Peel and cut vegetables into bite sized pieces
  2. Saute vegetables in oil to they are softened but not browned, about 10 minutes on medium heat
  3. Combine sauteed vegetables and chicken stock in a large pot
  4. Simmer stock and vegetables on medium low heat until vegetables are cooked through
  5. Cut cooked chicken into bite sized pieces and add to soup
  6. If adding cooked quinoa or brown rice, add to stock and simmer until everything is heated through
  7. Season with salt and serve
