Tis the season for pumpkin. If you’re not sick of it yet, try this pumpkin smoothie recipe. It’s my second favorite smoothie and I drink it year-round.
Pumpkin Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic canned pumpkin puree
- ½-1 cup organic spinach (frozen or fresh)
- ½ organic banana
- 2 Tbs. organic coconut oil
- 2 Tbs organic flaxseed oil
- 1 cup organic almond (or flax) milk
- 1 dropper of liquid stevia (optional)
- Purified water
- ½ tsp. pumpkin spice
- 1 scoop protein powder (I use Clearvite CLA)
1. Add pumpkin, spinach, banana, oil, stevia (optional), and almond milk to blender
2. Add purified water to the top of the mixture
3. Start blender
4. Add purified water a little at a time until the mixture is smooth
5. Add protein powder while blending
6. Blend until smooth
