Recipe – Sauteed Garlic Green Beans

This is my go to side of the season. It’s quick and easy and everyone loves it. This recipe also meets the dietary recommendations for the RepairVite™ and ClearVite™ diets.


Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 15-20 minutes

Serves Two (just multiply for serving more people)


12 oz cleaned (with both ends removed) organic green beans

2-3 cloves organic garlic

¼-½ organic red onion

Organic olive or grapeseed oil

Unrefined salt to taste

  1. Wash and cut ends off ends of green beans
  2. Roughly dice garlic
  3. Slice red onion
  4. Coat bottom of saute pan with olive or grapeseed oil on medium heat
  5. Add green beans, garlic and onion to pan
  6. Season with salt and cover pan
  7. Cook, stirring a few times, for 15-20 minutes to desired doneness
  8. Remove from heat and serve
